Bitter Honey

The hero of this story is not a famous man. He has won no awards and you probably have never heard his name. Yet, Yosef does one of the most important things a person can do today for the environment: He is a beekeeper.
The documentary illustrates how terrible and cruel today’s world is for the bees. Most of the world’s city-dwelling human beings have not (yet) experienced the destruction we have wreaked on the planet for the past 100 years. But for people like Yosef, who try to live in harmony with nature and earn their living from it, this devastation is an everyday reality.
