In Neot-Semadar, a unique alternative community in a remote desert area of Israel, every couple of years all the members switch houses. For one month in the summer, in a special event called by the locals "Moving houses", everybody participate in renovating and packing together. Nobody knows in advance to where will be his new home. The whole community is getting into a very personal and shaking journey, where packing the house and renovating is arousing an inner journey of self-observation and questioning about existential aspects of life. Through an Intimate and a quiet glance, the story of “Moving Houses” reveals, and touches the essence of this special community, and the essence of human-beings, that seek the feeling of inner home and freedom.
